Well, I don't know about that, but some of this stuff might help!
Due to being let down by the allopathic medical model I started researching alternative and holistic medicine. The argument against alternative medicine is that there is no scientific proof or double-blind studies to back up the, admittedly in some instances, fantastical claims.
This is often true and there seems to be a very good reason for it. Many of the treatments, techniques and substances used by holistic medical practitioners cannot be patented, or can be produced and/or practiced cheaply at home. This makes the $740 billion pharmaceutical industry very nervous.
So why no tests? Well, unfortunately the only people who offer money for these kind of tests are the very same Big Pharma companies, so unless a VERY wealthy benefactor with a deep desire to prove the effectiveness of some of the alternatives comes along we’re stuck in this catch-22. Doctor’s won’t recommend holistic therapies as real stand alone treatment because they’re seen no scientific papers to back them up and won’t accept testimonial evidence that people seem to get better, and Big Pharma won’t fund the research in case it turns out that colloidal silver or electro-medicine, for example, is more effective than the drugs they push on us.
So where does that leave us? Fortunately we’ve been blessed with this wonderful tool called the internet. The internet has led to the wild fire spreading of information on all aspects of healing and health care – both mental and physical. This has allowed many people to take control of their own healing process and journey.
The problem with this approach (and I speak from experience) is it can become a little haphazard and lead to further complications brought about by poor application of techniques or treatments and a lack of understanding of the healing process, or, more importantly, poor self-diagnosis. I would always suggest seeing as many professional medical practitioners as necessary in order to receive a diagnosis. This is the area allopathic medicine excels in. Use them!
The following links and articles deal with a whole host of conditions from the everyday to the deathly serious. It’s my belief that it is possible to return your body/mind to glowing health through intelligent use of these techniques, but I add a big BUT. Please consult a very experienced practitioner before embarking on a regime of healing if you’re dealing with anything serious. Trust me, time and money spent wisely with a trained healer is far, far better spent than attempting this alone.
Water It's not very exciting, but water is one of the keys to good health. Read more soon...
Natural Nutrition If you're dealing with any major long-term health issue I urge you to visit this site and download the free mp3 of Babara Wren's lecture. Decent naturopathic nutrionists are hard to find and this school works very gently within your own capacity to heal.
Colloidal Silver I'm not entirely sure where I stand on CS. I've used it on and off over the years with mixed results. I know I'd rather use CS than any antibiotic my GP gave me. It's been shown to be effective in the lab at killing virtually all viruses and bacteral pathogens. It is a catalyst, disabling the particular enzyme that all one-celled bacteria and fungi use for their oxygen metabolism which means they suffocate or starve. It is equally effective against viruses. Many others are destroyed because the electric charge on the silver particles cause their internal protoplast to collapse, and still others are rendered unable to reproduce. Because CS works in this way bacterias have no way of mutating and becoming resistent, unlike antibiotics. Vaccinations Think very seriously before you get vaccinated against anything, and even more seriously before you vaccinate your children. There is very little real evidence that vaccinations work, and a growing body of evidence that they're actually harmful. This is without considering some of the incredible ingredients in some of them. For more information - especially about childhood vaccination - take a look at The Informed Parent website, which provides an intelligent and balanced argument against vaccination. I urge you to read the FAQ section of the site and make an informed choice.
